Yazar Disney announced it received 125 nominations for the 78th Emmy Awards. According to the company, the nominations spanned ABC, FX, Hulu, Disney+, National Geographic, Marvel, Lucasfilm and other studio brands.
Disney+ and Hulu together accounted for 109 nominations, underscoring the group’s weight on the streaming side. ABC posted a standout result among broadcast networks with 46 nominations.
On the comedy side, Abbott Elementary earned its fifth consecutive Outstanding Comedy Series nomination. Quinta Brunson, Janelle James and Tyler James Williams also kept the show’s presence alive in the acting categories.
On the FX and Hulu side, The Bear, Love Story, Welcome to Wrexham and Alien: Earth were among the standout titles. Among Hulu Originals, Paradise stood out with seven nominations.
Marvel earned its first-ever comedy acting nomination with Wonder Man, while Lucasfilm made the list with Star Wars: Visions and Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord. The 125 nominations once again highlighted the breadth of Disney‘s television and streaming ecosystem.
